Kennedy Marie ... absolutely beautiful!

After the festivities of Saturday, I was free to make the trip to Lake Forest to see my beautiful neice. I was very mad that I missed seeing her when she was first born, but I was able to meet her on her second day in this world and fell in love immediately! Mommy and baby are adjusting incredibly well and even Big Sister McKaylah is now in love!!!! Isn't she just a natural big sister! Kennedy looks a lot like McKaylah as a baby. Eoin has yet to meet his beautiful little cousin (only siblings are allowed in the rooms) but we will be making a trip up north very soon!

Saturday we had the pleasure of hosting family and friends at our home to help celebrate Eoin's first year of life! I hope everyone had as much fun as Jordan, Eoin and I did! We certainly missed Auntie Kelly, Uncle Tim and Baby Kennedy! Eoin was spoiled with many fantastic gifts that he will definitely have fun with throughout the year. I was spoiled with so much help from everyone. Thank you to Grandma Kohn for all of her help with food and clean up, to Auntie Tina for snapping pictures, to Auntie Krystal for making such a beautiful banner . . . and everyone! Eoin was so tired by the end of the night from playing and showing off.

Nana Brown and McKaylah arrived early Saturday afternoon to help Eoin get ready for his big bash. One of the last things to do was to give Eoin a bath and get dressed before his guests started arriving. I asked Nana to give me a hand and she was more than pleased to get Eoin ready. She had lots of help with McKaylah who jumped in the tub right after Eoin!!! Since she had a bath that morning and always has one before she goes to bed, the clean little girl had three baths on Saturday!

Welcome Baby Inman

This morning at 8:50 a.m. my sister delivered another beautiful little girl into the world! She was 7lbs 13oz and 20 inches long. Baby and mommy appear to be doing well, although Kelly is sore and very tired. McKaylah is taking to her newfound sisterhood with a touch of jealousy, but it is sure to wear off! Isn't she gorgeous! Also, we are still awaiting a name and as soon as I have one, it will be announced!

We had another birthday celebration last night with cupcakes for the birthday boy. Although the big party is on Saturday, we had to make his actual birthday special too! Auntie Annie and Uncle Jay came over for dinner and dessert since they unfortunately cannot make it on Saturday. Grandma and Grandpa Kohn, Auntie Jessi and Auntie Erin also made it over to wish the lil' Prince a happy birthday. It was great! He got to open some presents and didn't quite know what to make of his birthday candles. He is so loved! I spent most of the day yesterday either holding my phone up to Eoin's ear so he could hear birthday well-wishes! He is very excited to see everyone on Saturday. We are going to miss Auntie Kelly and Uncle Tim, but it is all for a good cause! We will be welcoming a new addition to the family tomorrow!!!! I cannot wait to meet Eoin's newest cousin and my newest neice!
