Happy Thanksgiving!

Happiest of Thanksgiving.  We plan on eating too much, relaxing and enjoying each others company!  Thanksgiving kicks off the holiday season in my mind and I'm so excited for the weeks to come.

Kohn/Thompson Turkey Bowl 2011

It is a long withstanding tradition that the night before Thanksgiving the Kohn Family bowls versus the Thompson Family.  The families have both grown since the inception.  It is such a fun event.  This year was better than ever, especially since the Kohn's have now made it a tradition to take the trophy home!

The big group, Kohn and Thompson!

Eoin surprised everyone and was actually a pretty decent bowler . . .

Liam and Grayson had fun 'hanging out'

Thankful for Parents

LJLC hosted a 'thankful for parents' luncheon today, the day before Thanksgiving.  I was off work, so I took the boys with me right after lunch.  We had a craft in Eoin's room first and then headed to the Butterfly room to complete another craft with Liam.  We ate a wonderful lunch that left me full the rest of the day . . . LJLC is thankful for parents, but I bet we're more thankful for the wonderful staff there.  My babies love every minute, and why wouldn't they?  It is a ton of fun (and they even squeeze in some learning!)

Grayson's Christening

We headed to Iowa for Grayson's Christening this past weekend.  While the drive is pretty much dreaded on my end, the kids traveled so well!  It was so great to see everyone; Nick's family is so great and Liam got to hang out a new little girlfriend, Sadie.  Jordan was honored to be Grayson's Godfather.  It was a short weekend, but definitely fun.  I have come to find out that Liam is not the best sleeper anywhere but his own crib.  I'm hoping some more traveling will be the best way to break him of this, we shall see.  Also, Eoin was a bit of a challenge during mass, but in his defense, no nap equals a pretty fussy little man.  He of course enjoyed all the excitement and seeing Aidan!

Godfather, Jordan, with his no-shave-November look!

Eoin and Aidan hugging good bye, the good thing is we get to see them in just a few short days for Thanksgiving!!!

Festival of Trees

I spent quite a bit of time at the Festival of Trees this year as I was honored to be the Design Committee's co-chair.  On Saturday, the boys came to me and we had fun.  They got to meet Santa and Eoin played in a bounce house.  Liam was his happy little self!  I took a few snapshots with my new lense for my camera, I'm hoping it gets me taking more pictures, not promising anything though . . I really need to get better!!

Halloween 2011

Eoin has been very into 'COPS' recently, so it made perfect sense that he dress as a police officer for Halloween.  He had two 'uniforms' to chose from, a traditional officer and a SWAT officer, he wore the traditional officer.  He had real handcuffs courtesy of our neighbor, Steve.  A real badge courtesy of Grandpa Kohn . . . the little man was legit!  We headed to Grandma Lisa's to trick or treat and of course for chili!  Friend the Mavros' and the Kruger's met us there . . . it was so much fun!!
