33 Weeks!

I have had so many people asking for a picture, I gave in and took one, of myself, in the work bathroom, I apologize! But don't say you didn't ask for it :)

I'm 33 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 33 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby K is the size of a pineapple

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 28 lbs

Maternity Clothes: A mix of both; I am definitely realizing that maternity cut clothing is just that more comfortable! I even broke down and purchased some maternity underwear! haha

Gender: It's a boy!

Movement: He is pretty active, however, I know he is losing lots of space and isn't moving as much as he was, but when he does, I feel it all over!

Sleep: Pretty well

What I miss: Regular clothes

Cravings: Hmmm, haven't had too many; Pancakes

Symptoms: Itching all over! Heartburn! Big baby belly! The usual :)

Best Moment this week: Getting one more week closer to meeting him? I'm starting to get very anxious for the this pregnancy to be over. Some days I feel so large, I can't imagine having 6 weeks left, other days I feel like I could run a marathon. The arrival of this baby also means the arrival of spring and so we might be anxiously awaiting that arrival also. I didn't do much more this week to prepare for baby; we discussed names a little more. The Home Show is the weekend of March 11th and so we will be painting and finishing the nursery once that is behind us! 6 more weeks, 42 days, 1008 hours or 60,480 minutes until its baby time!

32 Weeks!

I'm 32 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 32 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby K is the size of a sack of potatos (about 3.75 lbs)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 28 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I am finding that I am uncomfortable in mainly everything :) Rarely do I feel cute and put together, but sometimes, it just happens, today I am wearing a maternity dress and some tights and boots . . . my dr. said I looked cute as a button and I kinda feel like it :)

Gender: It's a boy!

Movement: He is getting rather cramped, I can tell my the reduced movement, but also, when he does move, I am feeling it all over!

Sleep: Weird nightmares, uncomfortable positions and a squirmy 2 year old is making sleep a luxury.

What I miss: 'real' clothes . . . I can't wait to fit into real clothes!

Cravings: Nothing really; I have difficulty deciding what I want to eat.

Symptoms: Lately I've been having a lot of pressure; heartburn; itching, yucky dry skin; I have a massive belly; slight swelling in my ankles and fingers

Best Moment this week: It was a fabulous week; I love Eoin so much and he does so many funny things each day, it makes the days and weeks so fun! This week my sister came to visit with McKaylah and Kennedy! Definitely the highlight! My sister showered little man with some new gifts including a bouncer, diapers, a new video monitor (from Mom and Kelly) bips, etc. He is incredibly spoiled! McKaylah and Eoin play so well together and they kind of team up on poor lil' Kennedy - I hope this works itself out . . . Kennedy can hold her own in most cases though. We also got to find out that Eoin's newest cousin will be a little boy! He is probably thrilled, we were beginning to get overwhelmed by all the girls! He currently has 3 cousins and all 3 are girls! A boy is definite welcome addition. We also purchased the paint for the nursery and maybe just maybe came up with a name! This means the preparations are now well under way!!!!!

Boys will be boys

I really wonder how often I am going to utter the phrase that is the title of this post over the years. I just laugh thinking that in a couple shorts months I will have been blessed with two little boys. I consider myself pretty girly, so I am probably in for a world of trouble.

We had a incident this past weekend that can only be filed under 'boys will be boys.' Eoin shaved off his eyebrow. You read that correctly!

Let me start at the beginning, Eoin LOVES showers now and they really have done wonders for his eczema as he is no longer completely immersed in water. He showers with me, he showers with Jordan and then usually stays in and plays by himself/relaxes for awhile!

Well, on Saturday morning, he was in the shower for awhile by himself. I am not sure exactly when it happened, but it speculation that he used my razor (that I know I should've put up much higher) to shave off one of his eyebrows! Why do they make womens' razor so brightly colored and enticing for children?

The best part, we didn't figure out until lunch, when Jordan looked across the table and asked, does Eoin only have one eyebrow? and sure enough, he did! We asked him why he shaved off his eyebrow and he responded 'I shaved my beard.'

I hope it comes in alright!

31 weeks!

I'm 31 weeks!

Pregnancy Highlights:

How Far Along: 31 Weeks

Size of baby: Baby K is the size of a 3 lb bag of chicken (however, he was over 3lbs at our ultrasound last week)

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 25 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity pants but everything else is regular. I'm down to just a few things I can still fit into. ha!

Gender: It's a Boy!

Movement: He is VERY active - especially in the afternoon and at night; I felt that he had the hiccups a couple of times this past weekend

Sleep: I'm sleeping alright; I have crazy dreams and if Eoin is in our bed it is not comfortable; however, last night I slept like a log!

What I miss: Nothing too much - I could just really use a drink some days :)

Cravings: I'm really craving seafood and had an incident yesterday where I would've killed for a raw potato

Symptoms: Mostly tiredness, a few Braxton Hicks, I'm starting to waddle, and get out of breath really easily! I've also been very itchy all over and of course, heartburn.

Best Moment this week: Today is Valentine's Day and I gave Eoin his presents this morning; he had to wear his new boots to school today. Eoin had a quite a weekend and that will be deserving of another post. I can't wait to have two little boys! I got the baby's coming home outfit this week and also started stocking up on some diapers/formula (if needed) and some new necessities!

30 weeks

Size of baby: Baby K is the size of a head of cabbage

Total Weight Gain/Loss: Gained 25 lbs

Maternity Clothes: I wear maternity and regular/whatever is comfortable!

Gender: It's a boy!

Movement: He is soooo active.

Sleep: Hmmm, not sure I'm going to have a good nights sleep until the boys are both over 18!

What I miss: Sleeping well? Breathing correctly? Or bending over? ha!

Cravings: I'm just hungry. Today I found out at my dr. appt. that I am hypoglycemic, guess that means more eating in general :) She said lots of protein

Symptoms: Mostly tiredness, a few Braxton Hicks and the dreaded HEARTBURN~

Best Moment this week: It was a trying week; the best moment was probably being home with Eoin on Wednesday during the massive blizzard; he was home most of the week as both boys got sick again (both had strep). I managed to stay healthy and we had a dr. appt. this morning where we witnessed little man again through the ultrasound. He is measuring well and weighing in at about 3 1/2lbs! Not long until we meet him now . . . I suppose we should get started on some things . . . like a name, and painting, and phew, loads to do, I just wish I was smaller and could accomplish them :)
